Computers

The power supply on my main computer finally died after showing signs of deterioration. Order a new one two days ago, a standard 500 watt ATX 80 Bronze Certified power supply.

Well it turns out my power supply was working just fine, apparently something about the motherboard is not working correctly and it won't turn on if the 4pin power cord is plugged in. Perplexingly, it DOES does turn on off I unplug that and nothing else, unfortunate you need that power to have your motherboard function correctly.

So I told my mom about my predicament and she gave the OK to let me order a new motherboard and ram for $100; I worked for her for 2 days. Here's what I'm getting; and the updated specs of my main computer.
8GB DDR3 1333 (10600) Memory (memory replacement)
ASRock Intel LGA 775 Micro ATX Motherboard (motherboard replacement)
2 500GB SATA 3.0GB/s Seagate Hard drvies (7200 rpm, 32mb cache)
Radeon HD 5750 1GB
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.33 GHZ Processor

Here are the specs of my secondary computer that I use for botting, and more on that later.

8GB DDR2 800 RAM
Socket 939 AMD Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Single Core Processor
Geforce 7300 GT 256mb
150GB IDE Hard Drive
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
